Deformed Steel Bar (full name Reinforcing Bar), scientific name Hot Rolled Ribbed Steel Bar, is a steel with transverse and longitudinal ribs on the surface, mainly used in reinforced concrete structures to enhance the tensile strength of concrete. Core features: Appearance: There are continuous raised ribs (crescent, spiral, etc.) on the surface to increase the bond with concrete. Material: Mostly carbon structural steel or low alloy steel (such as HRB400, ASTM Grade 60). Process: Hot rolling, some high-precision rebars are cold rolled or tempered.

1. High strength & tensile properties

The yield strength is usually above 400MPa (such as HRB400), and the high grade can reach 600MPa (HRB600). Compared with ordinary round steel, the tensile strength is increased by 30%~50%, which can effectively resist concrete cracking.

2. Excellent bonding

The surface ribs make the concrete and steel bars tightly bonded to prevent slippage, and improve the seismic resistance and durability of the overall structure.

3. Good ductility and toughness

By adding micro-alloy elements (such as vanadium and titanium), the elongation of seismic rebar (such as HRB400E) can reach more than 14%, which is suitable for earthquake-prone areas.

4.Convenient construction

It can be welded, bent, and mechanically connected (such as sleeves) to meet the needs of complex projects. Coiled rebar can be processed automatically, saving labor costs.
